According to this Swiss website which, as far as I know, has never been wrong on these matters, the Dismemberment Plan and Cloud Nothings both self-confirmed for Primavera Sound Barcelona!!!
Good line-up so far if all the self-confirms / strong rumours are true etc.
Arcade Fire, The Apples in Stereo, Cloud Nothings, Crocodiles, Deafheaven, Dismemberment Plan, Dr. John, Dum Dum Girls, Factory Floor, Neutral Milk Hotel, Nine Inch Nails, Pixies, Slowdive, Teho Teardo & Blixa Bargeld, The War on Drugs.
I don't think Pixies or Neutral Milk will be top-billed for their day, so as far as 'headliners' go, we've only really got Arcade Fire so far? Would NIN be top-billed at Primavera?
I think Pixies could be a top-billed artist for their day. At least in 2010 they more or less were.
Neutral Milk Hotel probably not. -
the ex and full blast (brötzmann, pliakas, wertmüller) will also be playing.

Black Lips, No Age, Fuck Buttons, 65daysofstatic, Crocodiles, Dirty Beaches, The Soft Moon, D/R/U/G/S, Girls Against Boys and others are playing a festival in Greece (Athens) one week after the Primavera (BCN).

Pixies are less of a big deal as it's their second time in a few years so should be slightly lower billed now I would have thought. Plus they're playing many dates with Arcade Fire this summer so them being on the same night would make sense?
NIN will probably be highest billed one day and I'd guess at one of The National, Portishead (they've been getting announced for a couple of festivals recently haven't they?) and OutKast on the other day. I hope so anyway, think I should lower my expectations.

What about Beck?? I am really hoping to seem him on the bill. I guess he would very likely be a headliner, wouldn't he?

If the location is a hint as to a Detroit artist playing then here's hoping it'll be Was (Not Was)

Lots of great acts! I am particularly thrilled by Spoon, Volcano Choir, Darkside, St. Vincent, Blood Orange, John Grant, the Winged Victory of the Sullen and Foals! I am slightly disappointed not to see Beck, Future Islands and Outkast though, but of course, the lineup is amazing. And I really liked the lineup's movie!

i'm very happy to see The National on the top. love to see so many new and old (temples..) or old and new (slowdive..)
BUT a few missing though.. Future Islands and I Break Horses. thought they will both appear...

really enjoyed the line up movie - good fun and a nice way to reveal the bands.
Pretty chuffed with the line up overall. Lots of bands i already love. Julie Ruin, Speedy Ortiz, Helen Love (that was a surprise), National, Real Estate, War on Drugs, Mogwai, Pixies, NMH. Also Plenty bands I'm familiar with but don't know to well and I'll be happy to check them out. Then the best bit, bands I'm not familiar with that i can now go and discover.
Roll on May. Warmer weather top of the bill this year please!

very happy with line-up although a bit confused - have read on efestivals webiste that bands will be playing at the Parc de la Ciutadella on saturday too - assume this is free to general public like when bands played there in 2012, does anyone yet know if this will be saturday night and thus clash with bands playing at the main festival site?
