No creo que fuera lo mismo si todo el mundo escuchara Yo la Tengo.
Pues claro que no sería lo mismo. Se vuelve a mezclar el tocino con la velocidad. Ya está bien de la falacia esa de que aquí se escuchan grupos en función de los discos que venden o gente que va a verlos. Para ejemplificar, uno de mis artistas favoritos siempre ha sido y será Michael Jackson. Y cuanto más degenerado, mejor.
Y Amazing Jeff, tú tranqui, que no todos los adolescentes escuchan el canto del loco. También están los que fundamentan su bagaje musical gracias a máxima fm y flaix fm.

Si, ayer mientras cenaba vi en el casting de OT otro niño modernete con camiseta de
la velvet tambien ¿Estarán de moda?, este año ya he visto en varias tiendas las de ACDC y morritos, al año pasado o el otro (motorhead, ramones…) -

Bueno, de hecho la banda sonora de los castings de OT no es mala, he llegado a escuchar a Pulp, a Belle and Sebastian y a muchos otros buenos grupos que para nada tienen que ver con lo que luego hacen los chavales y chavalas del programa

_'Liberan' a 86 enanos de jardín en una escuela francesa
LIMOGES, Francia (AFP) - Un total de 86 enanos de jardín apareció el martes en el patio del colegio Ventadour, en Limoges (centro de Francia), tras ser objeto de un retorno a clase forzado impuesto por el 'Frente de liberación de los enanos de jardín', informaron fuentes policiales.
Las estatuas de los enanos fueron secuestradas en varios jardines de Limoges y otras comunidades vecinas por los miembros del Frente, que reivindicó su acción en una carta depositada junto a las estatuas donde figura también las direcciones en las cuales fueron capturados.
Los dueños de los enanos podrán reclamarlos en la comisaría central de Limoges._

The 'A Scanner Darkly' actress believes in the afterlife and says she is in contact with her deceased family.She revealed to Britain's OK! magazine: "I do believe in spirits. I often feel like someone is guiding me. I had a lot of family members who died in the Holocaust concentration camps.
"My grandmother is still alive and she has a lot of letters and pictures of relatives and there's this one particular relative of mine who was my age when she died.
"She was a great violinist and actress and looked a lot like me. I think she is the one."
Winona, who never met the relative, often feels her presence on film sets.
She added: "I have had this feeling that she was sometimes there with me and guiding me with performances. I never got to know her. It's a supernatural thing."

According to Ireland's Daily Mirror, Michael Jackson has been looking into buying an estate on the Emerald Isle, and is supposedly interested in opening up a - wait for it - leprechaun-inspired theme park.
"Michael is deadly serious about this idea," a source told Ireland's Daily Mirror. "He loves the whole idea of leprechauns and the magic and myths of Ireland. It would cost around 500 million Euros [about $635 million] to do. He's always wanted to open his own theme park and he thinks Ireland is the perfect place and it will all be built around the leprechaun theme." The cash-strapped singer reportedly is meeting with businessmen to raise money for the park. There are regular sightings of the reclusive singer in Ireland, and one newspaper there has set up a Wacko Watch Hotline for readers to phone in sightings.

AMA Nominations for Mariah, Chili Peppers
Mariah Carey, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Black Eyed Peas and Nickelback each received three nominations for the American Music Awards, it was announced Tuesday.Carey, who has won nine AMA awards over her career, was nominated for favorite female artist in both the pop/rock and soul/rhythm & blues categories, as well as for favorite soul/rhythm & blues album, for The Emancipation of Mimi.
Nine artists received two nominations each: Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kanye West, Jamie Foxx, T.I., Rascal Flatts, Pussycat Dolls, Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.
In one of the leading races, for pop/rock album of the year, the Chili Peppers and Nickelback are up against the cast of the Disney Channel movie High School Musical.
In the country competition, nominees for male artist are Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith and Keith Urban, while the female artists are Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood and Gretchen Wilson.
The other categories are soul/rhythm & blues, rap/hip-hop, Latin, alternative, contemporary inspirational and adult contemporary.
Winners will be picked by a survey of about 20,000 listeners. The awards will be given out in a Nov. 21 ceremony in Los Angeles that will be broadcast live on ABC from the Shrine Auditorium.
