The always-active Jeremiah Jae is of that breed of artists who never seem to stop creating and dropping new projects. And before he releases Ignorant Prayers II with Azizi Gibson, the Brainfeeder rapper-producer has revealed the debut album from one of his many side projects. It’s Gesus, the proper first full-length from Young Black Preachers. The duo consists of Jae, who raps and produces most of the beats, and Tre, who sticks to the rhymes. Together, they deliver some of the grimiest, rawest hip-hop to creep its way onto the Internet this year, and you’d be a fool to not give them the attention they so deserve.

El q me esta rompiendo el kuello es el de young black preachers (de la mitad para alante se pone fantastico) -

los de ybp y dpplgngz bantate bien pero, aparte de run the jewels, el que me ha volado la cabeza es el de clipping. qué puta barbaridad!
lo de underachievers bastante de broma y el de chance de rapper no sé ni como catalogarlo. qué clase de mierda es esa?

Con todos los respetos y gustándome Action Bronson, no deja de ser un gordo blanco copiando el flow de Ghostface. En el plano más indie/experimental del género, o como lo quieran llamar, en los últimos años para mi lo mejor ha sido Shabazz Palaces. Lo de El-P es muy bueno y hasta una sorpresa por su dilatada carrera (es decir, mola y sorprende que todavía sepa sacar cosas como éstas), pero tampoco veo yo que venga a revolucionar nada…
