Es mucho más fácil acceder por la página de inicio. A la izquierda hay el enlace dedicado a música y se accede a las actuaciones (bueno, a la primera programada pero también a las otras).
Por cierto…habrá que pensarse esto de coger la pasta y emigrar a La Caixa. Entre esto y que a partir de mayo las exposiciones van a ser de pago para los que no son clientes...50% de descuento es so much.

Ya las tengo. A ver, si tienes el carnet de la mediateca tambien te hacen el 50% de descuento (2 por carnet). Quedan unas 200 etradas por dia, pero para el sabado solo quedan, en las filas centrales, la 1 y la 10.

Ostia lo de Uri Caine, no lo había visto. Sí que es de traca sí… Dj Olive es finísimo, colaboró con el proyecto Keystone de Dave Douglas y creo que es el mejor dj que he visto metiendo cosas en un proyecto de "jazz" (por decir algo), muy lejos del típico escratcheador palillero. Vamos, que me compro la entrada tb.

Por si álguien no lo sabia aún, Nels Cline Singers ha cancelado su gira europea prevista para esta primavera-verano. Entre sus actuaciones estaba el festival de Jazz de Vic (Barcelona).
"Papá Wilco" lo quiere a su lado. -

Hot Cup Records is proud to release Slippery Rock, the fifth studio album by the acclaimed quartet, Mostly Other People Do the Killing (MOPDtK). This new group of compositions penned by bassist/composer/bandleader Moppa Elliott, were inspired by a lengthy immersion in the smooth jazz recordings of the late 1970s and 1980s. While many purists, academics, fans, and the members of this ensemble dismiss much of this music as superficial, commercial, and pandering, there are musical elements present that are unique to the genre. In order to expand the range and repertoire of the ensemble, Elliott extracted certain idiomatic phrases, harmonies and embellishments to incorporate into his own compositions.
