With his inspirations ranging from underground hip-hop head Madlib to the ultra-famous group the Beach Boys, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and vocalist Jonti creates electronica-based music that could be described as a more adorable version of the Flying Lotus sound. Born in South Africa, Jonti launched his career after moving to Australia, where he played in a band called Sherlock’s Daughter and won a production contest that offered a collaboration with Mark Ronson as its prize. In 2011 he became the first Australian artist to be signed to Stones Throw. That same year the label issued both his “Firework Spraying Moon” single and his debut album, Twirligig.

No se llegó a colgar por aquí? juraría que yo mismo o alguien lo pusimos, de todas formas no está mal refrescarlo, a mi también me gusto mucho, después de IRL y Wut creía que este tambíen iba a tomar los derroteros del sello, para mi bastante discutibles, pero no, ha seguido su propio camino y muy bien, teneís por la red tambien el Club Constructions de Lill Silva, no lo cuelgo porque la verdad, igual que el de L-Vis y casi todo lo que sale en Night Slugs ultimamente, a mi al menos me parece que deja bastante que desear.

Si, y mira que a mi me gusta la música pistera, pero es que es pista muy chabacana, muy basta, casi garrafa, como por ejemplo esto que salió en el Club Constructions de L-vis:

Igual no tanto, ardilleo el de Flylo en el XOYO el Sábado, con lo que me flipan Comosgramma y Los Angeles, y cada directo suyo que veo es más esperpéntico que el anterior.

Eso si, el sonido del XOYO es alucinante. La 'ultima vez que fui fue hace mes y pico para ver a Soft Moon y el sonido fue perfecto.
