ayer me enteré que el 80% de los extintos maine, una de las mejores bandas de postcore que salieron en nuestro país en la década pasada, han vuelto a hacer música, esta vez en castellano. también advertí que habían estado tocando en la moog hace un par de semanas. shiiiiiiiit!!!

> Blackball Records presents the 20th anniversary edition of Jawbreaker's beloved 1990 debut album Unfun–twelve groundbreaking tracks (sixteen on the CD) that captured the very inception of emo's big band and launched a galaxy of young, earnest bands and the scenes that love them.
> Unfun has been remastered by John Golden from the original analog tapes; the increased sampling rate boosts some of the bottom end and mid-range. It sounds fucking awesome. The vinyl version is available for the first time since 1992, and the CD and download versions of the record include the three-song Whack & Blite EP, as well as the 7-inch mix of "Busy" as an unlisted bonus track. This reissue features restored original artwork, and all formats include additional band photos from the time of recording. The CD comes with a 24-page booklet with the Whack & Blite insert reproduced in its entirety.

grupo de noise improvisado que comparte gente con eternal tapestry. tienen una pila de discos en sellos como not not fun, digitalis, three lobed… y éste está en type. dos temas largos.

edito: olvidé decir que la parte de orphan incluye tres temas extra que no son del ep, sino del lp 'decapitated lovers'. se reconocen por cómo tienen puesta la numeración.

Costó lo suyo (como que los ví en verano del 2007, así que desde antes que estaban en funcionamiento), pero a finales de año salió el primer disco de estos argentinos ex-afincados en Barcelona, ahora en Berlín.

Y es un gran disco.

editado por amphetamine reptile (creía que el sello estaba muerto... casi casi) junto a kunstwaffe. noise-rock al cuello con vocalista igual de borracho y encabronado que el de los pissed jeans o david yow y guitarras guarras de huevos duros y peludos. el disco está de putísima madre.
