Luces, cámara,…scores

Anoche pasaron una tal "Scalps" (El cementiri indi) por BTV, típica cinta de miedo de serie b con cuatro memos que van donde les dicen que no vayan, y bueno, tampoco es que sea especialmente divertida ni ingeniosa la peli (aunque está bien la pulla sobre los prejuicios al explicar que lo de cortar cabelleras no es tradición de los indios, sino imitación de los colonos que querían demostrar su 'trabajo', y así cobrar), pero, a lo que iba, lo realmente grandioso del asunto es la banda sonora de Drew Neumann y Eric Rasmussen, con esos sintes añejos y las atmósferas oscuras.

Buscando buscando, he encontrado los temas de la peli dentro de un recopilatorio de bandas sonoras nunca editadas de pelis de terror setenteras/ochenteras. Así que dejo aquí los tres volúmenes:

No se si seguis el trabajo de Alexandre Desplat, pero este último año ha parido varias joyas: tanto The Ghost Writer como The King´s speech son notables … y su trabajo previo con J.Audiard es muy interesante.

no se parece a lo que hizo la banda antaño (no al menos al "Soul mining"), pero esta nueva vertiente más atmosférica, delicada, e intimista les sienta igual de bien
