La que ha liado Matías Prats, la puta hostia.
A mi me hace gracia, al final la gente que siente la necesidad de justificarse es precisamente la gente que no debería hacerlo.
Tengo la sensación que el 90% de los que aquí escribimos habitualmente ha gastado mucho, pero que muuucho dinero a lo largo de su vida en música, ya sea en conciertos, discos, camisetas, pegatinas, chapas, cervezas, viajes a otros países, apoya a Dan Hoerner o quiero tal vinilo descatalogado en ebay.
No creo que seamos precisamente nosotros, que gastamos horas al día en hablar de mil cosas relacionadas con la música, y no solo en el foro, que compramos entradas de festivales sin que haya un puto grupo anunciado, los que nos tengamos que tirar de los pelos por el tema de las descargas.
Gracias a frikis como nosotros la cosa se ha mantenido un poco.
Yo además necesito filtrar, hay mucho sinverguenza con Instagram y camiseta por dentro en Dalston, que se hacen un grupo tan prieto como sus pantalones, lanzando un hype por los cielos y elaborando un mensaje tipo : Everyone is fun, everyone is beauty. Me lo bajo y no compro! que se jodan ellos y el hype.
Que Gira no se enoje, que ya nos lo hemos comprado el disco, ya tenemos la entrada del concierto y a lo mejor hasta una camiseta cae.

Dear friends and family.
It has been a long hospital year. You all have done so much and given so much to further my cause on this planet that I feel compelled to give you a little note. The response towards my medical fund and other support has been better than I could have ever imagined. I spent my time on the farm which was more like the opposite of a tour of duty, but it was good in its way. I have been moved around quite a bit too, Chicago, England, Indiana, West Virginia and back and forth to each. For the time being I am doing well, still in recovery and still in treatment until probably the summer does its thing. I’ve been writing a lot of music and eagerly anticipate the new 10” with Will Schaff’s book, word is that end of May we might finally get them. It is slow going, but it is going. I did write about 500 letters to many of you who sent me good wishes and more, oddly the facility I was in decided to keep them all instead of sending them. I’ll start re-collecting post box information when I am in a place for any length of time. Treatment is good, getting to deal with a lot of things that even the music didn’t want to. I have not given up because you, my friends have not given up on me. I do still need your support however that takes shape, good vibes are worth more than you might think. Finally, there are actually some musical projects on the distant radar screen, but for those who understand, I am taking this in much smaller steps than I’m used to. Keep the lamps trimmed and burning!JM

Beyond All Defects – the debut CD from Sir Richard Bishop & W. David Oliphant will be released to the world on August 21, 2012. This disc, the first in a series, was composed and recorded live in the studio in Phoenix, AZ in December of 2011. The sonic landscapes presented here find their origins in Tibet, and are heavily inspired by Tibetan Buddhism - specifically the body of teachings known as Dzogchen. Many of the musical ideas for this project were literally derived from dreams
the night before they were created. The remaining ideas were formed centuries ago.SRB plays acoustic guitar throughout. The guitar, often detuned, bowed, and beaten, was 'treated' by WDO during the live recording process. SRB also provided sounds taken from field recordings he captured in India. WDO used a variety of different computer softwares with a midi controller to create all the other sounds. All tracks were captured in real-time, direct to disk.
