With 808s & Heartbreak, Kanye West seriously conquers the pop scene which he has always flirted heavily with on his earlier, melodic hip hop landmarks. The phenomenon and style icon last played on Orange Stage in 2006 – and since then he has won over a steadily growing crowd. We are happy to present yet a pop and hip hop party in American widescreen.

EAGLES OF DEATH METAL (US) play sweaty and naughty 70s boogie rock where Rolling Stones, AC/DC and ZZ Top are household gods. Jesse Hughes is the charismatic front man in a band that specialises in high-level badass rock.

OH NO ONO (DK) got their name by playing hyperactive and speedy party rock – like their Roskilde debut at Roskilde Festival's Pavilion Junior stage in 2005. On the coming album Eggs the Danes are ready to prove that they are not only capable of throwing mad parties – they are also serious and skilled songwriters.

PETER SOMMER (DK) is today's epitome of sharp-edged, Danish rock lyrics. The Dane continues in the same Danish-sounding groove as old national heroes such as C.V. Jørgensen, Niels Skousen and Povl Dissing. On his latest, critically acclaimed album Til rotterne, til kragerne, til hundene, Sommer shows a new semi-electronic sound.

si es por ir a ver a Mars Volta igual te sale más económico ir a verlos a Paris el 28 de junio. Lo digo porque este año el roskillas es muy flojeras..

El cartel queda más o menos así o son las primeras confirmaciones trinxo? bueno da igual, voy a ir seguro porque estaré por los berlines.

en la web pone que habrá mas confirmaciones, pero no tengo ni idea, el año pasado no lo hicieron, pero en los corteles de años anteriores habia más cantidad de grupos, supongo que confirmarán entre 5 y 10 más, por lo que pinta.

PET SHOP BOYS (UK) is one of music history’s most durable duos – 50 million albums have been sold by lead singer Neil Tennant and sound wizard Chris Lowe. After touring with Trentemøller, the versatile pop musician is now ready to regain the spotlight himself – with a new critically acclaimed album and the backing band Sølvstorm to support him.
