Bueno, mas cositas para Roskilde. Lo de N.A.S.A. me produce curiosidad, claro que sin los artistas invitados de su disco, no se como quedara la cosa.
Exotic beats from the north and the south
Bomba Estéreo, Gangbé Brass Band, N.A.S.A., Negash Ali and Radioclit provide lots of big city atmosphere from very different places on the planet.
Just about the entire globe is represented in Roskilde Festival's music programme. Few other festivals offer as gaudy a mix of foreign dialects and traditions - this Wednesday in a saturated hotchpotch of electronic and organic dance beats.Today's announcement is in itself a little circumnavigation of the globe with Africa, South America, the US and Denmark as destinations on the journey.
BOMBA ESTÉREO (COL) combine their own music traditions such as cumbia and champeta with Jamaican dub, Angolan kuduro and American hip hop. Look forward to a hot, South American dance party, which is the embodiment of Colombia and the nightclub sounds of the western music scene.
GANGBÉ BRASS BAND (BEN) is a steel brass band that crosses New Orleans jazz and bebop with local music traditions such as juju and Afro beat. A renewing union of the city jazz club and West Africa's dusty desert world.
N.A.S.A. (US) have set out to break down the borders between countries as well as music genres. Their music is a spluttering horn of plenty of all styles that rhyme with dance or hip hop – and the melted down genre fun is accompanied by an imaginative, trippy dance show.
NEGASH ALI (DK) has proven with his solo album Asmarino that he is capable of delivering moving English-language hip hop. The African-born Dane brings a small soul orchestra to back him up.
RADIOCLIT presents THE VERY BEST (INT) is the result of a meeting between a European DJ/producer duo and the Malawian singer Esau Mwamwaya. Here the trio combines the sound of heavy, clubby electronica with tropical rhythms. The result is a fascinating and dance-friendly hotchpotch that will make advocates of clear genre boundaries run away screaming.

Increíble! Aunque el de usa era mejor, en mi opinión, este apetece bastante. Sobretodo por wolf eyes que no los ví en el sonar y deben ser la leche.

siempre los grupos gordos suelen ir sobre esa hora y hay que ir pronto porque se suele montar algo de pollo en la cola si vas justo. A mi me va como el culo porque practicamente empalmo el showcase de los Raster Noton, bocata, taxi y a los AC.
La verdad que la programación de noche me parece floja floja, recomendaciones? no muchas, encima Fever Rey que me hacían gracia de ver dará para poco ya que empieza al poco de AC, supongo que voy a ir a ver a "Rustie" que me gusta bastante, dubstep-crossover, bajos gordos y bastante macarra. Supongo que me acercaré a "Moderat" (Modeselektor + Apparat) que aún no los he podido ver, "Orbital" un rato a ver si aún hacen el directo con las luces y a ver si hacen temas nuevos o será una live nostálgica. Puede estar bien Mujava en el showcase de "Sunday Best" a bailotear un rato. y ya se verá… si acabo con Deadmau5 haciendo el loco, la verdad que no hay un grupo/dj quitando AC que me quite el sueño. flojo. El viernes mejor con la serie media pero sin tirar cohetes.

Gracias a ambos, investigaremos algo más. En Detroit no he estado, pero el technazo lo tolero un rato a altas horas de la madrugada dependiendo mi estado etílico.

I’M FROM BARCELONA (S) plays indie pop with a large number of winds, synthesizers, accordion and choir singers. In spite of a crew that could fill half a football team, the sound is often light and carefree in that special way that characterises Swedish pop music - from ABBA to Jens Lekman.
WAVVES (US) has in a short time become one of the hottest acts on the buzzing blogs where the young Californian has been hailed as a new great talent. Nathan Williams plays simple, catchy songs about skateboards and boredom, which he buries in a thick blanket of white guitar noise.
THE WHITEST BOY ALIVE (N/DE) delivers a quite unique combination of white funk, German electronics and catchy pop, which enthuses at concerts as well as on record. Norwegian Erlend Øye and his German playmates played with us the last time in 2007. Since then they have been high on many people’s lists of dream concerts at this year’s Roskilde Festival.

We are not quite done yet. Few slots on the programme are still empty, and a handful of Lounge and Pavilion Junior acts also look forward to being announced in the near future. -
Vaya cabrones estos del Sonar, 65 frodos que me tengo que dejar para tres conciertos. Los añadidos posibles son Vincent Gallo y una banda de pistones, fabuloso. Y además Mulatu a las cuatro de la tarde. Joder, que algunos tenemos una vida, y tal.
