por añadir más cosas al debate:
1 los mensajes de agradecimiento/excitación no se podrían enviar por privado?
2 las peticiones de re up no podrían hacerse por privado y que el que ha colgado el disco editara su mensaje inicial?

quicir, a veces uno ve la banderita roja y entras en el topic para leer un "yuju, gracias" o algo parecido. que tampoco es para tanto, vale, pero es para agilizar un poco la cosa.

coño! vaya debate más majo que os habéis montado. realmente este hilo siempre ha sido una locura. a mi personalmente me gustaría que como mínimo toda filtración sea escuchada previamente por el filtrador para corroborar que no se trata de un fake y que se añada una escueta reseña como ya hacen algunos. de todas maneras, aunque reconozco que a veces me es más fácil buscar aquí que en google, este hilo me la trae bastante al pairo.

pues a mi me gustan que estén aquí, en público.
se cuelgan muchas cosas y según quién haga el comentario puede hacer que me pare a escuchar el disco o que directamente pase.

Hombre, pero una cosa es decir "yuhu, gracias!" y otra, pararte y decirle al filtrador que a tí también te gusta el disco porque blablabla, vamos, lo que viene siendo una opinión con algo de chicha.

Lo de volver a editar el mensaje con un nuevo link hace que tengas que estar revisando todo el rato hojas anteriores… no lo veo, la verdad. ¿Que se pasen los re-ups a "peticiones"?

y hacer un hilo de re-ups, peticiones de colgarlo en otros servidores y versiones de diferente calidad? asi en filtraciones se tendrian todas las referencias y sino te convence lo q te has bajado te lo buscas en el otro hilo ese

Espero no ofender, ni dañar, ni hacer perder el tiempo a nadie con esta filtración, pero no pienso caer en ese vórtice de pesadumbrismo, en una quema de brujas, o en un nuevo éxodo a lo "exiliados " (con la diferencia de los motivos que mueven a unos y a otros)

AUNQUE AUN NO HA SIDO FILTRADO EL DISCO COMPLETO, ya falta menos; este "Pre" es una curiosidad que solo deberían descargarse los impacientes, por que suena como el culo y es una recopilación bastante peregrina de lo que se supone que será.
Por otro lado, el single suena bien,… y me refiero a la calidad del audio.

Quasi - whose members have stints in Sleater-Kinney, Heatmiser, and Stephen Malkmus' Jicks - will be performing at the Pavement curated ATP festival in Minehead ATP (14th – 16th May), and are soon to announce further UK and European dates for the Spring. Quasi will also be performing at Portland's Doug Fir Lounge on New Years Eve playing covers of the Who.

Two Door Cinema Club - Tourist History

two door cinema club release their fantastic debut album, 'tourist history' on french label kitsune. the trio from bangor, northern ireland have recently received the auspicious nod from the bbc after being named as one of the fifteen acts on the bbc soundpoll as well as featuring in numerous end of year tips for 2010. the album is undeniably pop, but draws on disparate elements including electronica / electro, rock and afro-beats whilst remaining resolutely fresh and inventive. the only constant between songs is the length of them - short! - redefining short, sharp and sweet. the songs average out at a pop-perfect 3 minsutes.

Aloha began with Tony Cavallario and Matthew Gengler in the summer of 1997 in Bowling Green, OH. One of the few bands to ever actually get a record deal based on a demo tape, the band has operated from a number of bases, doing their writing, rehearsing and living in Cleveland, Chicago, Washington D.C., Cincinnati, Rochester, Pittsburgh and Altoona, PA. Aloha is renowned for their intense, non-stop live shows and extensive touring, as well as their homemade T-shirts and self-reliant ethic. The band has shared the stage with the likes of Q and Not U, Ted Leo, and Clinic, as well as Cex and Joan of Arc, two bands in which drummer Cale Parks has been a member.

Cavallario and T.J. Lipple began playing together during a lull in Aloha's schedule in late 2002, when they both lived in Pittsburgh. Lipple joined the band in May of 2003, when Parks, Cavallario and Gengler joined him at his grandpa's empty house in Altoona, PA. There they began writing the songs that would eventually become 2004's Here Comes Everyone. With Lipple came a more focused approach to making music and a host of new tools including marimba, homemade mellotrons, organs and tape manipulations. Lipple's skilled drumming also allowed Parks to move to the piano on occasion.

While the four members of Aloha are scattered across the eastern half of the country, they spend most of their time making music together. Some Echoes is the second Aloha album since Lipple joined the band, and was recorded, mixed and mastered at Silver Sonya, the studio he runs with Chad Clark (Beauty Pill) in Arlington, Va.

In late 2007, Aloha set out to record a surprise album for fans, acting as a thank you note for years of a lasting commitment to the band. The resulting 7-song Light Works, is an ambitious piece, meshing moody, detached rhythms with the graceful tones of Cavallario's acoustic guitar. Mixed by Aloha percussionist Lipple, Lights Works contains the elements of an organic recording process in its free-spirited nature.

On 2010's Home Acres, Aloha expands on the graceful acoustics of Light Works with an ambient, energetic offering. Overflowing with a sense of slow-building intensity, Home Acres, is the band's biggest album to date. Home Acres reaches beyond the limitations of past influences towards a brighter, bolder future.
