Un juez francés ha emitido una orden de arresto internacional contra el ciclista estadounidense Floyd Landis por haber supuestamente 'hackeado' el sistema informático del laboratorio de Chatenay-Malabry, según informó este lunes el presidente de la Agencia Francesa de Lucha Antidopaje (AFLD), Pierre Bordry.
"El juez francés Thomas Cassuto del Tribunal de Gran Instancia de Nanterre nos informó que el 28 de enero emitió una petición de captura internacional contra Floyd Landis, quien dio positivo por testosterona en el Tour de Francia 2006, después de que nuestro sistema informático del laboratorio fuese 'hackeado'", destacó Bordry en una entrevista a la agencia 'Reuters'.
Landis dio positivo en julio de 2006 por testosterona y fue despojado de su victoria en el Tour de Francia de ese año en beneficio del español Óscar Pereiro. El americano recurrió esta decisión, alegando irregularidades del laboratorio encargado de analizar sus muestras, pero el Tribunal de Arbitraje Deportivo (TAS) rechazó sus argumentos.
