… yo hubiese ido a Daft Punk en el Sònar si las entradas no hubieran estado agotadas , luego, el mismo dia, tocaban Fountains of Wayne y como me tocaron invitaciones en la ràdio pues les fuí a ver en el Bikini y después del concierto salieron a hablar con el público y la mayoría confesó que estaban allí por no haber podido ir al Sònar...

hombre, creo que he dejado muchas veces claro en este foro que tengo unos gustos bastantes amplios, y a quien no le gustan Daft Punk? en especial en esa época, imbatibles.
Además ese bolo de Zeleste lo recuerdo de una manera especial porqué fue en la época que Ian Pooley vivía en barcelona y era residente del Nitsa, él es muy amigo de ellos (bueno, hasta sale en "Teachers" y remezcló si no recuerdo mal "Burning", ellos tambien remezclaron Chord Memory y Rock Da Disco de Pooley creo) y nos fuimos al backstage y luego nos llevamos al par y a Dj Sneak que ejercía de telonero de fiesta al Nitsa

...anda! yo también estaba en el backstage del Zeleste con los Daft Punk !!!! Entré de rebote porque una emisora de ràdio había organizado un meet'n'greet y un@ de l@s ganadores no se presentó ... estuve casi todo el rato hablando con Thomas de Spike Jonze y sus videoclips ... también me contaron el porqué NO llebavan máscaras ni nada en sus conciertos ( que luego se contradijeron con sus palabras ya que ahora SI van disfrazados...) con Guy-Manuel casi no hablé ya que yo no sé franchute y él no sabía/sabe inglés ... estubo guay ...

Igual el cambio lo dieron cuando empezó la era de la informacion e internet a gran escala y sabian que su imagen seria difundida por todos lados....

… me dijeron que estaban hartos de que la gente creiera que la música electrónica són sólo maquinitas haciendo ruido/sonidos, ellos querían demostrar que si no fuera por los humanos que hay detràs programandolo todo no existiría tal música, y que ellos no eran robots, por eso se mostraban tal y como eran a la hora de hacer sus conciertos, para que la gente viera la parte humana que hay en la electrónica, que otra cosa eran los clips y prensa (aunque en alguna revista SI salieron sus caras), ellos sólo querían mostrar su verdadero 'yo' en los conciertos para así premiar a l@s fans que fueran a ver-los ...

Guy-Manuel llevaba el pelo corto...estaba tan mono allí con la espalda contra la paret en plan 'forever-alone' , dàban unas ganas de cantar-le eso de

SHRINEBUILDER, VOIVOD, BLACK MOUNTAIN, DEAD MEADOW, YOB AND MORE CONFIRMED FOR ROADBURN 2011

Doom supergroup SHRINEBUILDER, legendary Canadian avant-metal quartet VOIVOD (performing two separate shows), doom giants YOB (playing their seminal album, The Unreal Never Lived, in its entirety), sludge/stoner legends BUZZOV*EN, sludge bastards WEEDEATER and RWAKE amongst others have been confirmed for the 2011 edition of the Roadburn festival, which will run for four days, from Thursday, April 14 to Sunday, April 17 at the 013 venue and Midi Theatre in Tilburg, Holland.

Roadburn Festival is elated to also announce that Vancouver riff-machine BLACK MOUNTAIN will headline this years Afterburner event on Sunday April 17th, 2011. Also confirmed for the Afterburner are American doom legends BLOOD FARMERS, DEAD MEADOW, BLACK PYRAMID, DRAGONTEARS and GOMER PYLE.

BLACK MOUNTAIN's take on late 60's / early 70's rock echoes both Black Sabbath and early Pink Floyd. They begin with smoking Marshalls and spooky organ sounds, build into lengthy freakout jams spiced with stomping boogie and ambient melodies and crown it all with twin male/female vocals from Stephen McBean and Amber Webber. "It's heaviness with fragility", according to frontman Stephen Mcbean in Rolling Stone. "Anyone can slam out a Black Sabbath riff, but nobody else can do it with Amber's beautiful voice on top of it."

BLACK MOUNTAIN go beyond mere demin-clad revisionism with the release of Wilderness Heart, the band's latest album, as they stunningly juxtapose tender, pastoral balladry with some of their heaviest songs yet, while showcasing a very confident sense of originality.

This means that we’ll be using Roadburn‘s main stage for the Afterburner as well. In fact, we can't think of a better place than 013 venue's large sized, sloping auditorium to witness BLACK MOUNTAIN, and rock out to their classic psychedelic rock.

Also newly confirmed for the festival are MASTER MUSICIANS OF BUKKAKE, LUDICRA, IMAAD WASIF, COUGH, YAKUZA, EVOKEN, WHITE HILLS, WOLF PEOPLE, DRAGONTEARS, CARLTON MELTON and LONELY KAMEL.

Tickets for Roadburn 2011, including the Afterburner will go on sale Saturday, November 27 online through Ticketmaster.nl and at the 013 venue boxoffice.

Sponsored by Terrorizer and Germany's Rock Hard, the 2011 edition of the Roadburn festival will include GODFLESH's performance of its seminal debut full-length album, 1989's "Streetcleaner", in its entirety, SUNN O)))'s special event, headliner SWANS, CANDLEMASS celebrating 25 years of doom (including a performance of the "Epicus Doomicus Metallicus" album in its entirety; featuring original vocalist Johan Längquist), WOVENHAND and WARDRUNA (the dark ambient folk project led by former GORGOROTH drummer Kvitrafn).
