está en spotify 'black rainbow', nuevo disco de los italianos aucan. empezaron siendo unos clones algo simplones de los primeros battles. luego sacaron un ep que intentaba incorporar a la película cosas techno, dub y demás historias. por lo que se ve, siguen por esa senda… le he dado una escucha saltando de pista a pista y me suenan lejanamente al 'third' de portishead, a cosas de warp rollo electrónica avanzada de ésa en la que no estoy nada metido, mucho a pivot y a los trans am que menos me tiran (sumarle a todo la palabra rock). para mí eso no es muy bueno, pero para quien le guste, puede probar. también están los dos discos anteriores a los que me refería antes.

también se puede escuchar en la página de black tent un split en edición limitada que les han sacado a orphan y a dope body. me interesa particularmente por orphan -a los otros no los conocía-, que son un auténtico grupazo. como ya dije en su día, suenan a los primeros nirvana haciendo trash-punk con sólo un bajo distorsionadísimo y una batería sin virtuosismo ninguno. la parte de dope body tampoco pinta mal, pero la de orphan es canela. incluye versión de unwound.

éste último, si alguien lo encuentra para descargar, se agradecerá que lo ponga por aquí…
