He conseguido bajármelo de un taringa.
No me ha gustado. Solo he escuchado las 4 o 5 primeras canciones y me ha parecido nu metal cansino.
Con cariño, pero de refused, At The Drive-in y demases, como que no

Psychedelic Horseshit - Laced LP [FatCat, 2011]

@30xsu72k:
Currently existing as the duo of Matt Horseshit (vocals / guitars / drum programming / harmonica / keyboards) and Ryan Jewell (drums / percussion / keyboards), 'Laced' also features a guest appearance by Times New Viking's Beth Murphy, who sings on 'DOA'. Created in Columbus throughout 2010 (with two tracks dating back to almost year before that), the album was recorded in a variety of basements, practice spaces, living rooms, and bathrooms using almost no amplifiers and a beat up 70's Teac reel to reel. No longer mining corrosive, lo-fi dysfunctionality in 2-minute adrenaline hits, 'Laced' is the first record to see them consistently stretching things out and breaking new ground. Losing the caked-in distortion and aggression, whilst retaining a drugged density and adventurousness, it is cleaner and far more electronic. Guitar, keyboards and drums remain staple instruments, but the driving bass guitar is ditched as samplers and electronics become increasingly central. Matt sampled, chopped and re-sequenced sections of Jewell's druming, forming a series of piled-up rhythms and loops. With this foregrounding of both rhythm and a spiralling mass of processed tones / melodies, 'Laced' could pass as a very a fried, psychedelic dance record. Numerous tracks bring to mind the early '90s indie-dance axis of MBV's 'Loveless' / Happy Mondays' 'Pills…' / Primal Scream's 'Screamadelica'. Squelchy, fluid and immersive, its huge blown-out swathes of blissfully reverberant FX, buried voices, smeared electronics and melted-out guitar processing recall the likes of Black Dice, Growing and Animal Collective. The pitchbent synth opening the 8-minute long ‘I Hate The Beach' replicates Omar Souleyman's Syrian horns; ‘Another Side’s harmonica and acoustic guitar nods towards Dylan; whilst the frequent blissed-out frequency mess summons the spirit of Astral Social Club. There are blissfully shimmering loop-sections; places where the whole buckles in on itself. At the centre of the slurred, swirling chaos is Horseshit’s gnarly, nasal vocal.

Wet Hair - In Vogue Spirit [De Stijl, 2011]

@2adpg2cy:
Following a run of potently psychedelic offerings from the likes of C. Spencer Yeh, Hype Williams and Charlie Nothing, De Stijl Records ventures yet further into the outsider pop realm with a new album from Wet Hair. It's a leaner, more focussed effort than their last LP proper, the Not Not Fun-issued Glass Fountain, but it's still pretty murky, under-the-skin and righteously weird material. Apparently recorded after the band spent some time travelling the world "supporting the astral concepts of their music" (alright for some), the LP begins with 'Echo Lady' – billowing space-rock in the Moon Duo / Wooden Shjips / Holy Fuck style. ‘The Garden Room’’s oscillating alien synths and kitschy organ interplay are very much in the tradition of Stereolab, and ‘My Heart Is The Spider My Mind Is The Fly’ is the kind of pulsating woodland psych that Animal Collective used to make. Both ‘Liquid Jesus’ and ‘Fame Hate’ channel Spacemen 3 and early Spritiualized, the wilfully flat vocals adding a crucial extra dimension of wonkiness, and closer ‘Cosmic Radio’ sounds like Cluster if they’d spent the 60s noshing on ‘ludes in a London bedsit. Yeah, that good.

kid congo & the pink monkey birds – gorilla rose (in the red, 2011)

http://www.fileserve.com/file/bSSc9zG ```@bdzt5n52: > Gun Club co-founder. Gunslinger for The Cramps. Six-string stylist for Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. The legendary Kid Congo Powers named his new album Gorilla Rose after the artist / performer. As a teenage boy, Powers met Gorilla Rose in the emerging LA punk scene of the ’70s through seminal weirdo band The Screamers. > > He recalls, 'Gorilla was a close and constant presence and influence on The Screamers and me as a young pup. He was to The Screamers like Bobby Neuwirth was to Dylan - a jester of sorts, sparking many of their great lyric ideas. I still think Gorilla Rose is the most fabulous nom de plume in history. His unsung specter was in my mind a lot last year so I decided to title the album Gorilla Rose to honor his name and bring him into rock ’n’ roll’s ongoing conversation'. While editing his fan club newsletters at a haunted Hollywood house, a teenage Powers was also exposed to the sounds of Neu, Nico, Billie Holiday and Goblin’s soundtrack to the film Susperia, and along with Gorilla Rose, these past influences found their way into the Kid’s new full-length. > > To record the album, Kid Congo and The Pink Monkey Birds grabbed producer Jason Ward and hightailed it back to the magik gymnasium at The Harveyville Project, a high school in Kansas and also the scene of the crime of their much acclaimed 2009 release Dracula Boots. Kiki “El Coyote” Solis on bass and Ron “The Cap’n” Miller on drums, along with new Pink Monkey Bird Jesse “The Candyman” Roberts (from Seattle’s The Ruby Doe) on guitar, keys and vocals, firms up Kid Congo’s squawking flock. Brandishing thirteen all-original, glam-tastic compositions, "Gorilla Rose" blasts off with the ’60s Chicano rock influences of explosive dance anthem “Bo Bo Boogaloo". Shake it, don’t break it! That’s just the start of a wild ride through funky but chic decadence, slip sliding rockabilly, teenage punkdom, mystic krautrock, baby-making sleaze, the best bad peyote trip you ever took and even a velvety call from the beyond. > > Finding inspiration in the past is what Kid Congo and The Pink Monkey Birds do best. On this 2011 sonic trip, the Kid brings his past into the present and names it after someone flamboyant and inspired: Gorilla Rose. the cars - move like this (concord, 2011)

http://www.filesonic.com/file/921850624 ```@2cx6g380: > Move Like This, The Cars' first album of new music in many years, is a vibrant and ingenious collection that expertly extends their already extraordinary canon. Retooling innovative art rock, sleek New Wave, and punchy power pop in their own idiosyncratic image, The Cars' groundbreaking sonic approach continues to influence artists and airwaves today. Singer/guitarist Ric Ocasek emerged as a master songwriter with his enigmatic integration of evocative, beat-inspired lyricism with radio-friendly hooks and harmonies, fueling a multi-platinum body of work that includes such indisputable masterpieces as 1978's self-titled debut and 1984's blockbuster Heartbeat City.
