Multi-instrumentalist and sci-fi prog-rock explorer A.E. Paterra returns with his second proper full-length as Majeure. Following closely on the heels of his beloved but scarcely limited split album with fellow Zombi cohort Steve Moore, Solar Maximum expands on the cinematic, atmospheric vision alluded by his 2010 debut album, Timespan. Once again composing, performing, and producing the entire album, Paterra broadens the Majeure cosmos with an increased focus on moody synths and an almost inhuman level of patience in the payoff. Drawing influence from 70s celestial film scores, ambient krautrock, and dexterous vintage prig-rock, Solar Maximum trades in the cosmic disco of Timespan for a more spacious and ominous feel that lives up to its ambiguously ambitious title.

Synthesist Steve Moore is one half of the noted 70s-inspired, synth/prog duo Zombi. In addition to the five albums released by Zombi, he has a prolific and thriving solo career, releasing music that ranges from electronica/dance to trance music. Light Echoes is Moore's debut on Cuneiform and is a 70' long electronic meditation, a continuation of the German 'space music' made famous in the '70s, but with today's aesthetic and Moore's own affinities firmly in place.

Este disco está de puta madre, bastante melódico, rollo synth wave, cold wave, sintes en el pedestal. Muy a lo lejos parece que el que cante sea Stephin Merrit.

Following on from a pair of Extended Players released in 2011 (“Passed Me By” / “We Stay Together”) Andy Stott returns to Modern Love with ‘Luxury Problems’, an 8 track album of new material recorded over the last 12 months.
Five of the tracks on the album feature the voice of Alison Skidmore, Andy’s one-time Piano teacher whom he hadn't seen since he was a teenager back in 1996. There was no grand gesture in mind, it just sort of happened - but after almost a year of studio work the result is really quite unlike anything you’ll have heard from him before.

Yo, me gusta muchísimo, como casi todo lo que hace, lo único que la mitad de temas del disco ya los había escuchado previamente, y tal vez sean los mas hits de todos, Ye Ye, Yes I Know, Coz Ber Zam… Sino has escuchado nada previamente eso no te va influir, así que a disfrutar, por sino lo tienes a mano aquí te dejo un enlace:
