Knapsack was formed in 1993 by Blair Shehan (vocals/guitar) and Colby Mancasola (drums). Shehan and Mancasola were two high school friends studying at the University of California, Davis. Guitarist Jason Bokros and bassist Rod Meyer completed the lineup.
In 1994, the band recorded a single for independent label Goldenrod Records and signed with Alias Records later that year. Their debut album Silver Sweepstakes was released in 1995. They then toured extensively playing with bands such as Pavement, Rocket from the Crypt, Jawbox and Drive Like Jehu.
Bokros left the group before the release of their second album Day Three of My New Life in 1997. Rod Meyer left the group after this release and was replaced by Sergie Loobkoff of Samiam. Their third album This Conversation is Ending Starting Right Now was released in 1998. Shehan went on to form The Jealous Sound after the band broke up in 2000.VUELVEN!!!

Tras la primera escucha he notado que los buenos momentos que tiene el disco eclipsan a los desastrosos.
De todas formas no me aventuro a pronosticar si será un disco que escucharé más de 10 veces de forma íntegra a lo largo de mi vida. No sé, échale una moneda. -

Tras una escucha diaria desde que se filtró, me aventuro a escupir que es el mejor álbum del proyecto a excepción de "No Good for No One Now" editado 2002. Se haría justicia poética trayendo al festival cualquier grupo de la factoría Kinsella, ya lo dejé escrito en el hilo correspondiente y ni manel -que se nota un montón que no ha vivido la época emo- ha entrado para insultarme.
(¡ven a reírte de nosotros un rato, hombre!)Ahora me pongo con la mandanga de hoy, gracias.
