"Gentle Spirit", editado por el sello británico Bella Union en el 2011, ha aupado a Jonathan Wilson como uno de los más lúcidos artistas de su generación. El disco contiene una apabullante lista de invitados entre los que se incluyen Chris Robinson, Gary Louris, Andy Cabic, Jonathan Rice o Barry Goldberg y se desenvuelve entre el folk y ese rock de carretera tan popular en los 70. Wilson también es un reconocido productor, habiendo trabajado con gente como Father John Misty, Dawes o Mia Doi Todd. En esta gira presentará su inminente nuevo trabajado acompañado de su banda.
