“Intoxicated Women” es el cuarto y último disco en el que Mick Harvey homenajea y traduce el cancionero de Serge Gainsbourg, además de otra de las obras capitales de este legendario músico australiano. Harvey puede presumir de una carrera larga y fructífera en la que ha formado parte de The Boys Next Door, Crime & The City Solution, The Birthday Party y los Bad Seeds de Nick Cave, algo que ha combinado con sus discos en solitario, la creación de bandas sonoras y la producción de otros artistas como PJ Harvey, Rowland S. Howard, Anita Lane o Robert Forster.
En su concierto en Barcelona estará acompañado por cuatro violinistas del proyecto musical Cordes del Món, así como por su banda actual en la que entre otros milita James Johnston de Gallon Drunk.
