El de Burial el mejor del año? Pos vaya sorpresa. El disco esta bien, muy bien incluso, pero a mi me parece algo irregular. Normal en un debut. La lista no me termina de convencer, a mi Peaches me da asco, y el disco de Bonnie Prince Billy, por mucha clase que tenga, es mas de lo mismo. Idem de Sonic Youth. Tambien es cierto que bastantes discos no los he escuchado, como el de Keiji Haino. Voy a por él.

Cada mes editan un pdf lleno de recomendaciones, y lo bueno es que se sale bastante del espectro de novedades típico (RDL, Mondo, Pitchfork, Ruta66…) y reseñan cosas a las que nadie más les presta atención, y como tocan mucho la importación demuestran buen ojo con propuestas que se han consolidado posteriormente (ya destacaron el de Harlan T. Bobo hace más de un año). De hecho, es el único "medio" nacional que ha mencionado a mis adorados Earl Greyhound, sólo por esto ya le envié un mail al propietario, muy majete.

Es cojonuda, tanto en variedad como en atencion al cliente. De las tiendas pequeñas de Madrid una de las mejores. Se lo curra porque ama la musica. Para dejarle los leuris a una megatienda, mejor apoyar a las pequeñas comunidades, que todo sea dicho de paso, no se sobran con los precios, por lo menos en esta tienda.

No la veo muy clara, la verdad (sin dirección aparente), pero lo de los debuts es la que les ha quedado más fuera de lugar: han metido a The Organ (disco de 2004, re-editado en Europa en 2006), a Art Brut (2005 clarísimo) y encabezando a Arctic Monkeys (que si bien el LP es de enero, ya tenían dos EPs pululando desde el año pasado).

¿soy el único que se sorprende de que en estos batiburrillos de listas no aparezca el de Tortoise con Bonnie Price Billy? vale ya se que es un disco de versiones pero le gana por goleada a muchos otros con temas "originales"
