Mantronix - Bassline (Sleeping Bag Records, 1986)
Kurtis Mantronik es directamente Dios. El rapper es MC Tee y el ingeniero de sonido Carlton Batts. Digo esto porque el disco en vinilo, lo pinchas, subes el volumen de la etapa y saltan las motas de polvo de los bafles, lo que dice mucho a favor del que masteriza. Cuando redoblan las cajas se me saltan las lágrimas.

Y muchas gracias a todos por las aportaciones, esto está quedando de lujo pero, ya puestos, voy a denigrarlo un poco: Un coleguita de J Dilla que está empezando, ha sacado una demo en 2006 y un EP en 2007, aparte, supongo, de las incontables colaboraciones a las que acostumbran estos tipos. El largo se espera para principios de 2008. Se llama Flying Lotus. Sí, el nombre es un poco petulante pero hace cosas interesantes.
