The KVB es el proyecto personal de Nick Wood, al que posteriormente se sumó la teclista Kat Day, que navega entre las aguas de la darkwave, el krautrock, el post-punk y la electrónica. El dúo ha trabajado con Anton Newcombe de The Brian Jonestown Massacre y Joe Dilworth de Stereolab y sus dos últimos trabajos se han publicado en Invada, el sello de Geoff Barrow (Portishead, BEAK>). Dos discos en los que desafían estilos e influencias y consiguen patentar un sonido propio basado en los sintetizadores.
