A mi no me gustó su disco, pero es que en general es un tipo de música que no me acaba de llegar (igual que no me llega demasiado Missy Elliott por ejemplo)

hombre si te las ponen para bailar no están mal, "Pull up the people" o "Bucky Done Gun" valen, pero el disco como el 9 de 2001-2006 como que no

pues no eres el único wolf, ami tambien me parece bastante mejor stories from the city… que el último disco de la pichí, pero bueno, viendo la lista tampoco me extraña...

Pero el Stories… es de 2000, y la lista empieza en 2001. De hecho, yo estaba buscando todo el rato ese y el XTRMNT, y luego caí en la fecha.

Disco de rarezas de Sonic youth en camino

And ponder a move away from record label

Sonic Youth are set to release a compilation album later this year.

'The Destroyed Room: B-sides and Rarities', out on December 11, will feature rare tracks from vinyl singles, compilations and international releases as well as unreleased material.

The follow up to this year's 'Rather Ripped' studio album will also fulfil the band's contract with their label Geffen, who they have been with since 1990.

Bassist Kim Gordon said the band would think twice before signing with Geffen again.

She said: "I don't really think they want us to stay. They fired a few key people working on ('Rather Ripped') a week before it came out, (including) our A&R person - he worked on our last record with us, and that was the first time we had an A&R person in five years, but we liked him. Also a marketing person who had really good ideas. So, I don't know."

Gordon also told Billboard that she wasn't sure how this move away from Geffen would affect the expanded reissue of the band's seminal 1988 album 'Daydream Nation', which is currently in the planning stages.

Y este año se están haciendo discos muy buenos que echo de menos en la lista. El de Built to Spill o el de Mission of Burma, por ejemplo.

Haberlo hay-lo pero no creo que sirva de mucho; si no te gusta algo dificilmente te va a convencer de lo contrario lo que hayas leido ¿o no?

Aunque bueno, siempre te puede salir el plasta de turno diciendo que tal guitarrista mola porque tiene una digitación de no se cuantas notas por minutos o que si tal cantante llega a no se cuantas escalas,y ante eso ¿como vas a defender que te gusta como canta Dylan o toca la guitarra Lou Reed? Cuestión de gustos

TWINS FOR DE CADENET AND VALENSI

British socialite AMANDA DE CADENET and THE STROKES guitarist NICK VALENSI are celebrating after becoming parents to twins. Former TV presenter De Cadenet, 34, gave birth to a boy and a girl in a Los Angeles private hospital. Both babies weighed six pounds (2.72 kilograms), although their son spent his first day in intensive care. De Cadenet and New Yorker Valensi married earlier this year (06). They live in Los Angeles.

A new documentary about the Riot Grrl movement of the 1990s, featuring bands like Bikini Kill, Bratmobile, and members of Sleater-Kinney, as well as appearances by Fugazi/Minor Threat frontman Ian MacKaye, Kathleen Hanna (Le Tigre, etc.) Corin Tucker, Sharon Cheslow, Julie Lary, Natalie Cox, Alison Wolfe (Partyline, etc.), and more, is being released by Urban Cowgirl this week.

The documentary is called "Don't Need You." You can buy the DVD off the Urban Cowgirl website for now. No idea if it'll be available on netflix any time soon.
