A parte de que confirmen o no Neil Young, cosa que dudo enormemente y no me hago ninguna ilusión, simplemente he dicho de mantener esto arriba para quitarnos las dudas en un par de días, definitivametne no queda nada para confirmar o sí?. Yo es que ultimamente ando un poco desconectado del foro y no me entero de muchas cosas.

Este hombre está hecho una autentica piltrafa física, una puta mierda como dice en una de sus canciones, así que es mejor que venga antes que la espiche y nos tengamos que conformar con una banda de tributo. Mi preferido, sin duda, Everybody know this is nowhere. Del Zuma me quedo con un tema que creo que no habeis citado: Danger Byrd. Esa guitarra herida y desgarrada siempre me consquillea los huevecillos. Danger Byrd, flies alone!

Joder nada alegraría tanto a mis amigos MAHATMA y SIDHARTA como que viniera el canadiense al primaflower, yo he tenido la suerte de verlo dos veces en concierto (A Coruña y Jerez) y os aseguro que es la puta caña, sobre todo si viene con los Caballos Locos y si no, se se pone a cantar "After the gold rush" con el piano y ya entramos en trance. Ese escenario lleno de cacharros de válvulas del año catapúm y ese sonido guarro…... LOVE AND ONLY LOVE.....

Blavatski ya se ha hecho referencia por aquí que a Lou Reed le parecía Danger Bird una de las mejores canciones que se habían hecho jamás. Larga vida al rock y que yo lo pueda ver algún día. Stukas si este año viene a Europa cuenta conmigo que me hago hasta chapas para realizar el sueño. Bueno un poco anacrónica esa canción Spock , pero: "Look at Mother nature on the seen on the nineteen seventies"

No sabía de la existencia de la entrevista. Gracias Harry. ¿Cuántos artistas son capaces de hacer algo así? ¡Viva la demencia senil! A la gente le podrá gustar más o menos Young, lo que nunca deben dejar de reconocer es esa actitud ante la vida. El ser siempre libre de decir lo que a uno le dé la gana sin tener que buscar afinidades políticas: Ya sean de izquierdas o de derechas.

Neil Young anti-war album - full details unveiled
Look out George W Bush!
A full tracklisting and biting lyrics have emerged of Neil Young's forthcoming album 'Living With War' - and it seems that as had been reported the entire record is a concept album about the policies of George W Bush at home and abroad.

According to the website Down With Tyranny, which claims to have been given a personal playback of the record by Young's manager Elliott Roberts, the album was written and recorded in nine days following a conversation the singer had about the politics of the Bush administration with Steve Bing, a film producer friend who funds radical causes in America and recently donated $10 million to a study of global warming.

The political tone is set by opening track 'After the Garden', which kicks off with the lyrics : "Won't need no shadow man runnin' the government." It's followed by the title track, which incorporates part of 'The Star Spangled Banner' as Jimi Hendrix famously did at Woodstock in 1969.

'Shock And Awe' refers directly to the bombing of Baghdad with the lyrics: "Back in the days of shock and awe, thousands of children scarred for life/ Millions of tears for a soldier's wife, both sides are losing now."

'Flags of Freedom' returns to the theme with the lines: "Today is the day our younger son is going off to war."

'The Restless Consumer' is built around the refrain "Don't need no more lies" while 'Let's Impeach The President' is even more forthright, with the words: "Let's impeach the president for lying, misleading our country into war/Abusing all the power that we gave him and shipping all our money out the door."

Other titles include 'Lookin' For A Leader' and 'Families' and the album ends with another Iraq song, 'Roger and Out', which includes a 100-piece choir singing 'America The Beautiful'.

No release date has yet been set but given the topical nature of the material Young is said to want the album out before the summer, and is also reportedly considering streaming the songs on the Internet.

Me parece lo mejor que ha hecho Neil Young en años….y no es por su ataque anti-Bush ni por ser su disco más politico (que tambien influye) sino porque música y letras conjuntan a la perfeccion. Me alegro que su salud haya mejorado lo suficiente para que nos haya podido entregar esta pequeña joya.
