"Gang Banged With A Headache, And Live" is a recently-unsurfaced "authorized bootleg" from math rock pioneers Don Caballero. Recorded in 2003 at a single show in Chicago, "Gang Banged" captures Don Cab's unrivaled musicianship in gritty, brash fashion.
Featuring the lineup of Gene Doyle, Jeff Ellsworth, Jason Jouver, and (of course) Damon Che, the band performs material spanning from 1993's "For Respect" (Touch & Go) to songs that would end up on 2006's "World Class Listening Problem" (Relapse Records). While classics like "Fire Back About Your New Baby's Sex" and "Delivering The Groceries at 138 Beats Per Minute" are performed true to their recordings, the band also explores medley territory at times, weaving together songs like "Let's Face It Pal, You Didn't Need That Eye Surgery" and "You Haven't Lived Afro Pop" into the aptly named "Let's Face It Pal, You Haven't Lived Afro Pop".

SHELLAC - LIVE AT BIMBO'S - SAN FRANCISCO 1998
Shellac bootlegs usually sound pretty good, and this one is no exception, maybe a B-, better than average but a little muddy in spots. The material is pretty heavy with "Terraform" and "At Action Park" songs, but one jam off the then unreleased "1000 Hurts" album shows up, and a few 7 songs round it out. All in all, good stuff, which is what you would expect right? Right.

It has been broadcasted live on french radio and released later as a limited cd for new "Les inrockuptibles magazine" suscribers in january 94.

Following in the snow tracks of When I See The Sun, our massive, near-complete Codeine overview, comes What About The Lonely?, an eight-track LP recorded at the group’s live zenith. Captured direct from the mixing board at a stop on Codeine’s November 1993 swing through the Midwest, opening for Mazzy Star, this document finds Stephen Immerwahr, John Engle, and Doug Scharin running through their hits at Chicago’s notorious Lounge Ax for a crowd of chatty 120 Minutes fans. Gastr Del Sol’s David Grubbs adds his guitar to two songs, slinking on and off the 24-inch stage with little fanfare, but leaving his signature indelibly on the performance.
Constructed for Record Store Day 2013, What About The Lonely will be issued as a one-time pressing of 2000 150 gram LPs and 1000 CDs.

Concierto en "solitario" de Alan Sparhawk en 2003 en Reykjavik

Alan Sparhawk (singer-songwriter from the American indie band Low) - Concert at the Reykjavik Art Museum in Reykjavik, Iceland (November, 2003). The show was completely sold out and is a legendary show in the music scene in Iceland as Alan's band, Low, is very popular in Iceland. The recording was made from the mixing board and burned to a CD back in 2003. It was presumed lost for the last 10 years, but then Alison found it in behind some other CDs.
The songs Alan performed were mostly from unreleased albums at the time. For example "Pissing", from The Great Destroyer, is introduced as "Cat Stevens". Many of the tracks were completely unknown to the audience, which was a treat for everyone present since they were all huge Low fans.
The concert was organised by an Icelandic arts collective called Tími (Alison MacNeil, Curver Thoroddsen, Birgir Örn Steinarsson). Alison paired Alan up with some local Icelandic musicians, so he was joined by Kjartan Bragi Bjarnason (of kimono) on drums and Þráinn Óskarsson (of Hudson Wayne) on organ. They practiced for a half hour the night before the show. Þráinn's band, Hudson Wayne, opened the show.

This album was recorded one night in Bloomington, Indiana during a Mount Eerie show that happened some time after Wind’s Poem was released and just before the release of Clear Moon. At the time, no one really knew about Clear Moon, and so it was surprising when Mount Eerie showed up to the concert as a three piece band with only two keyboards and a guitar! Where was the drummer? Where was the heavy metal band!? This was not that kind of show. Instead, it was an intimate concert closer in vibe to Lost Wisdom or Dawn, but it sounded unlike any Mount Eerie music that existed up to that point.
