Doves - There Goes The Fear

Ostia! Post BRIT a la vista! Doves en el foro del Primavera! A mi el Lost Souls me gusta, es un buen álbum de pop británico clásico, con sus ciertos toques sombríos y tal. El Last Broadcast ya es decepcionante y deja claro que no van a ninguna parte. La canción que pones no me excita especialmente, pero del Lost Souls hay buenas piezas pop como "The cedar room", "Here it comes", "The man who told everything" o "Rise". Aunque curiosamente la que más me gusta es la pieza instrumental del principio del disco.

Lo dicho, creo que Lost Souls es un disco salvable dentro de lo que es el pop británico decadente del último lustro.

Ya vesss, me ha dado la vena popera. A mí me caen bien estos chavales. En directo dan el pego y el Lost Souls está fino. Los demás discos no han estado a la altura, pero siempre hay algún tema que se salva.

Korkobado, voy a empezar a hacer campaña masiva en favor de Modest Mouse. Me ha emocionado escuchar sus temas en la boca de Kozelek, y de ver sus videos llenos de inventiva visual (mejorando el recurso de los monigotes de Franz Ferdinand en Take me out y Oasis en All around the world).

Tranquilo Korkobado, la propuesta no hará "que te duela España". Respeta las identidades nacionales de todos, no hace que el suelo tiemble ante la ruptura y acepta el dogma cristiano más ortodoxo recogiendo la tradición cultural de la que bebemos hace siglos. Hasta el amigo Ratzinger Z bendecirá la propuesta y se excitará con Neverending math equation.
